Repeat on a ellipse?

I have an ellipse curve that I would like to repeat a shape on, but I would like the shapes to always point to the center. I can do it on a circle but I can not figure it out for an ellipse?

Hi Robert,

did you use the option:
"repeat -> on curve -> distribution mode=DISTRIBUTE - Transformation mode=FRENET COORDINATE SYSTEM" ?

it works for me
