How to add a Clear Coat or No Finishing to Edges

Unread post by ken »

So, I can add a clear finish to parts by using a finishing but with edges, the only drop down available is for coatings. If there are no coating options in the edge catalog, it will leave the edge the color of the material selected but if I have any coatings (which I need for some parts), then one has to be selected. Is there a way to add "no coating" to the list similar to the option in define multiple parts? Or, is there a way to add a finishing to this list?

I think you will want to try using generic code to do this. that way it will pull from the part definition for that data instead of the edge or panel function
