How to Add a Clear Coating
Is there a way to add a clear coating to a part so that it will be listed in the BOM but without it changing the look of the finished part? We have a number of parts of different materials that we apply a clear lacquer to and I would like the shaded view in the draft to show the material but still have the coating listed on the BOM. I tried to make the coating translucency 100% but then the parts all just show up transparent and look like glass.

I believe if you added your own custom finishes you can do this

Thanks Todd!
I just tried it out and the Finishes don't affect the presentation of the part like the coatings which is exactly what I needed. I just had to update my BOM to show the finishing info as well.
