Unable to make "Curve-curve intersections point"

Please see the attach files, I'm making a French door and I am unable to create an intersection point on the two curves what would cause this and how would I fix it? Thank you

Hi Robert, I think the issue is your trying to do an intersection with a thicken curve. Try using an offset contour. In my opinion these type of curves are far easier to do in sketch rather than the curve function.

Chris-Thanks for the suggestion, even with the offset curve I could not make the intersection point. I have found issues with splines that are created by bezier and control curves several tools do not work on them, I'm wondering if this is one of them.

Robert,
I looked at the file you attached and it seems that your b-spline curve was not originally drawn on the same plane as the rest of your contours. I found a point that had been offset in the Z+ a distance of 0.5in and I'm assuming that's where your issue lies. I modified that distance back to zero and was able to get a point where those 2 curves intersect (see attached file). Hope this helps.

Colson-thank you that was it, I use offset points a lot and must have click "Z" instead of "Y" thanks agian
