un-merging a parametric sub-assembly from the group

I have placed several parametric columns I have created into a room assembly, when "copy components" the columns I "merge parameters" if I change the parameters of one column they all change, that is what I want. But one on the columns I need to make a custom change to it, how do I un-merge parameters on that one column will maintaining the parametrics?

Hi Robert, Find the column you want to change in the tree, navigate to the drivers. Right click on the paramter you wish to change and select "replace". This allows you to replace the parameter for just that one instance. I've attached a screen shot.
