hello i am jeff from the U.S / thank you missler

hello fellow wood workers and wood products manufactures, i am jeff from the U.S, i thank missler for creating this forum and look forward to talking with other wood workers that are using TopSolid or thinking of using TopSolid. is there anyone else out there??? can anyone tell me if there is a way to set a default mortise clearance? i can not seem to find this in the properties. thanks all

Hello,

The only way (I know off) is to create a model. He will remember your values, you can allways addapt on application if neccessary.

thanks pieter, i found out that this is not supported in 6.7 but is a new function in 6.8 which we should have soon. are you a woodworker?

Hello,

These features also exist in 6.7! when selecting the tenon type, you can create a model.
I'm a reseller of TopSolid, I do several modules, but I am more or less specialised in the wood-woodCAM module. :wink:

what i am referring to is when creating a mortise from a tenon you are prompted to enter a tolerance value, when doing several of these operations entering the same value is a little time consuming, in 6.8 when making a mortise from a tenon the tolerance value is carried from the tenon model. thanks pieter
