Yes you are wright, I have advise my reseller about this and he forward my comment to Missler about a year ago and nothing was done upto now, but this is what I found on my side.
The ring have the good orientation but the DP is to low (sink complete and the tool was reverse. I suggest you made the samething, advise your reseller to advise Missler. I have to fix that my self each time I use a non standard mold.

Same here. Locating rings when you first build a DME, PCS, Hasco (inch) mold base all have a wrong depth.

This problem is known

Unread post by Bill »

Hello,

This problem is known today. I hope a correction will be made on it soon. For now, I think that the easiest solution is this.

After you insert your standard mold base, delete the locating ring. Then go and manually insert a new one. You will find the function you are looking for under the Centering icon on the navigation icon bar (left hand side of your screen). From there DO NOT choose locating ring. This is an old function. Instead, choose locating washer...trust me when I say, you will be happier with the result as it will include the screws along with the component... :-)

FHCS

Unread post by RICHARD LALONDE »

Over that, everyone know than we have to put FHCS to hold the locating ring on place, But why all AINSI screw DME or Missler have a 90° and is impossible to modify that bcs it's a Missler compo. This probleme is not very related to locating ring bcs it come with the c'sink, but when you process this screw with any part the angle mistake append.

Hello Richard,

The Flat Head Cap Screws have also been modified in the upcoming 240 patch to be drawn correctly, and thus the process should also now be good.
