Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates

Well that's not true. Roughly: Based on the combination of machine, tool material and part material TopSolid select a Cutting condition document. There you can specify for a the cutting conditions even for different axial and radial depths. If you change these max axial or radial depths and click on...

Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates

No volumill is à build in 3th party strategy. You need a special license if I am correct. But this strategy sure uses multiple feeds in one operation. It is not the option I was looking for. Volumill is much more than only variable federate. The tool path has a complete different approach aswell. Re...

Re: Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates

Re: Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates

In TopSolid'CAM V6 it was possible to change the federate according to the material to be removed. I give it a try in V7 maybe I can find something.

Re: Milling of the bottom side

Maybe I am the one keeping it afloat, but in a year or so you guys can help me[emoji1] We'll concerning your question dig into defining template files. You can create a machining file, select your machine, mount the vise and than store it as template. Maybe you can also put some smart chosen frames ...

Re: Full Section in another scale?

Yes Like you can change it in each other type of auxiliary view. Use the wrench and select the frame of the view to edit the basic settings. Directly at the top you will see lookalike definition of the scale. Use this to break the link of the scale between the reference view and this view. Type the ...

Re: Repeat screw for shelf

You have to repeat the screw aswell so you have to select them together with the shelf. If you want to repeat the screws afterwards and TopSolid asks for the repetition method you can select one of the repeated shelfs the system than uses the repetition method of the shelf for the screws. The repeti...

Locked file

Normally the green border has nothing to do with the file being locked. This is because you are in sketch mode. Finish the sketch and the border is gone.

Why it was there in your case is a little puzzle to me.....
