Are you getting an "Indexing Error?"

Also watch your memory usage, if your on a 32bit OS TS only can go up to 1.8mb before it crashes. And you have a pretty large Mold file.

Purging will help as Richard said also.

Well, It seems that you will have to modify the "Modeling Tolerance" under Document Properties under General. Then recreate the blocks. It's seems blocks created with a larger tolerance retain that even if you tighten the tolerance to unite them. Once I changed the tolerance to .002mm and ...

I get the same results. Basically your uniting a block .01mm below a line you've imprinted. No matter which order you do it in it causes the united block to distort. I thought it must be a system tolerance issue, but when I change the tolerance all the way up to .001mm under document properties I go...

#3 Make sure if you use DME Stop pins to change their length to the proper .188. They come in as .218.

#4 I think it's a very good idea to have the window show L & D at the top of the window. Just a nice confirmation for the user we're getting what we want.

When you install the setinel driver you only want to install the USB, and Parallel if you need to, part of the driver.

I just downloaded it and it unzipped fine. I've had files go bad in the transfer before though. I'd just download it again.

Currently I have a 7600GT in the system. I will be changing over to an 8800GT this weekend. I'll let you know how that goes.

Another note. Before uninstalling those 2 services TopSolid would load up to the Open menu in 3 seconds. Now after I uninstalled those 2 services it is taking 35 seconds to load up to the Open Menu. For some reason the System Protection Services allows TS to boot up very quickly, but it also causes ...

Thanks Olaio! :D

That did the trick. I had installed everything. I don't get the error any more.

I've noticed with TS that the rendering gets weird coloring if any of the model is off screen. Is this Vista not supporting OpenGL properly, or is it correctable?

Thanks Gentlemen.

When I do get the error the key isn't seen at all any more. Key serial number: 0.

But I'm not convinced it's the dongle. On my current main system with XP pro it runs all day. I'll test it with my laptop today also.

[Solved] Unauthorized use. Error

Just built my new computer system using Vista 64bit. I have the dongle software installed, the dongle, and the codes. TopSolid starts right up with no problems. I can do anything I want, but a couple of minutes later I can't do anything. I get a "Unauthorized use." message when I try any c...

Good. You might want to have them update the Website for Minimum System Requirements and add that. Currently it says Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro only.

Thanks Remi for moving it also.

[Solved] Windows Vista 64-bit

I know questions were asked about Vista a year ago. But does TopSolid yet work on Vista 64bit?

Building a new system, and XP 64bit is real picky.

Really? That's great news. Thanks Jehronimo. I just know currently it can burn you, and I just wanted to make sure they were aware of it.
