Re: Create dimension drivers on point on a curve?
Hi Robert, i do not think that this is mathematical possible! You can create a point on a curve driving one coordinate, not both! The other possibilty is to create a curve drived by the points! This is a different approach. First you create the points and after you can create a closed spline passing...

Re: Create dimension drivers on point on a curve?
Are you using the elipse command?
If yes, it is normal that you can not constrain the point with 2 dimensions!
You can constrain only one dimension and the other is the result.

Re: Smooth between surfaces
Hi,
You need to sew the surfaces together, and then try the option "smooth".
Play with parameters to get the result that you need.

Re: Exceptions
Hello CAD_73
what kind of exceptions are you working with?
Layers, entities,...?
If you are working with layers, maybe you can create a draft document from a design document that have the layers that you need.
After you need to redired the design document to the new one.

Re: Explicit family document
Hi, you can open the new family document that you want to use, and edit the inclusion of the original family. Then you will be able to select the new family document (you need to have the document open!). Maybe you will need to give constrains again (if they are not published). I hope this will help...

Re: Explicit family document
Hi, I confirm, you can not edit the code in the family document :( . You can not delete an instance of the family document :( . However, if you modify the parameter "Code" in the instance document (with the family document closed), and if you use the property "Code (General)" in ...

Re: Layers bar
Hi deefield
you can go to "Tools"->"Options"->"Icon bar" and increase the number of quick layers.
You have a limit of 200 quick layers that you can use.

Hi Todd,
i think that you can use the "barycenter point" to have the center of mass of your table.

Hi Onink,
Try with a fillet of 149.99.
The problem can be that with 150 fillet the corner of the groove is coincident with the face of the fillet.

Re: Multitasking
Hi bheyboer, I think that you have 2 possible "solutions": 1 - Create several users and with the pdm server you can open several instances of TS (one for each user). 2 - You can run several sessions of TS7 at same time, but for that you need to run each session in distinct localpdm. Of cou...
