Ok, so TopSolid'Image may not be the most talked about product in TopSolid but with the launch of TopSolid 7 things are rapidly getting more and more exciting. To be honest i have never done a render in V6 but i know there are lot´s of people out there who have. I think it´s high time that we show...

I don't think there is a date set for Wood yet, but it's most likely several years away.

One of the first projects i did as a TopSolid user was a model train steam engine for my dad. That was some nine years ago, and the train still lives.

I wanted to do a decent render of a pool with water.

I did the water with a bump texture.

The daytime render uses "skylight" only and the night time has a point light under water and a decreased amount of daylight.

Thanks, that did the trick (atleast for me that is). I checked the graphics driver as you said and i needed to download another grapichs driver. I must say, the whole process was very easy, i just clicked the provided link to the recommended driver and was redirected to Redway 3D website and correct...
