OK one last shot.
Under IAPPLICATION you have getexporterfiletype. The result I a list of extensions from a exporter index. Yo can run through the available exporters and test their extension the support. Than Yo are sure you have the right exporter.
Maybe that helps.

Re: What is a BOM Document?
I never tried exporting in V7.x using the API.
Can't it be that you use the wrong exporter? Exporting to example.pdf with let's say a dwg exporter will leave you with a unreadable PDF of coarse.
I will see when I am back at my computer if I can find something. For now it is weekend.
Good luck.

Re: Modify Parameter via API
Hmm, you are correct the difference between V6.x and V7.x is larger indeed. It is a while ago since I last used both API. [emoji15]
Good luck with your work.

Re: Silent Installation of TopSolid CAM
Well iT is basic installshield functionality. I did it once. Be sure to start with an empty system otherwise you forget to install e.g. the distributals. So use a system to record the install on which this version of TopSolid has never been installed.

Re: Fulcrum tipping point pedestal dining table
I thinking you better use the barycenter. Than find the shortest arm from barycenter to the rotation line over wich it will tip the fastest. Now rotate the complete table around this line until the barycenter passes the line. That's it I think.

Re: Partnames in draft
Normaly you define the assembly in the 3d Design document there you give the parts a name. Assembly - define parts As you have done that you start a new draft. Here you make a new view. As it asks for the parts to project you select in the menu bar the 3d document containing the assembly to project....

Re: Dimension text
That' s not a problem. This setting you can find in either the application options (Tools-options-dimension) or in the document properties (file-properties) if you find it in this last one you have to set it when your template is empty and open. Set the setting and save your template in config\templ...
