Re: radius lines not visible in draft
Modify the view. Under "Edges/Rendering" you will see "Smooth Edges", select Half Intensity under the pull down menu.

Re: Import Adobe Illustrator text
If you can get it into a DWG, try opening the DWG in TopSolid. Then start a sketch and use the insert functions to bring the lines into the sketch. Finally constrain the inserted lines (try the fixity or rigidity constraint). This should work but you should make sure your DWG file has polylines and ...

Re: molding creation?
Also use sketch to make the shape. It's better than using contour. Once you get one extruded component done with a sketch, you can do a save as, edit the sketch (where if you wish you could erase all the lines and start over) and then save. Faster than creating new from scratch.

Re: Unable to make "Curve-curve intersections point"
Hi Robert, I think the issue is your trying to do an intersection with a thicken curve. Try using an offset contour. In my opinion these type of curves are far easier to do in sketch rather than the curve function.

Re: un-merging a parametric sub-assembly from the group
Hi Robert, Find the column you want to change in the tree, navigate to the drivers. Right click on the paramter you wish to change and select "replace". This allows you to replace the parameter for just that one instance. I've attached a screen shot.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: machining operation breaks
Hi Robert, We don't use the molding process because we don't have any machining processes associated with it so I can't say why it doesn't work. However I would have done this with the groove function using a 45 degree cutter running on center. I tried this and it works fine. However, it might not b...

Re: Arc lenght dimension in sketch
I'm not sure you can. You can however use math to determine the angle based on arc length and radius. The formula is Arc Length = Angle (in radians) * radius. To rewrite that to solve for the angle in degrees the formula is Angle = (180* Arc Length)/(PI * radius). I tried it out using a parameter fo...
