Probably my first impression is all wrong and not complete because I haven't mastered TopSolid yet.
Mark, thank you again!

Re: Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates
I don't have VoluMill licensed, so cannot check if it could be a solution  So what would be the point of specifying Material for the stock part if it is not used in any way for calculation of Feeds and Speeds? :| It doesn't look intelligent at all when tool move at constant m/mm and RPM, is it?

Re: Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates
Thanks. Will try to dig in this directions as well.... Just watched this video... rGIycpJ0fho The guy in this video using VoluMill strategy in End Mill operation and in the end he has G-code with variable F (feedrate) values, but not Spindle speed variation though. At least it is something. Do you t...

Variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates
Doing Side Milling, Pocketing and so on, is TopSolid capable of performing machining with variable Spindle RPM & Feed Rates? For example when there is small amount of material on toolpath obviously you can increase feedrate and on the other hand when mill goes deep into material feedrate slows d...

Re: Milling of the bottom side
Hello, Mark! It looks like you are the only one who is visiting this site and keeping it afloat. Thank you Mark, for pointing me in right direction. Tried to reposition to a new document and had to select again machine, install vice and placing part. It is not a big deal though, but could it be ther...

Milling of the bottom side
Hello! Please, need help!
In my milling project, once 5 sides are machined, what should I do in order to machine remaining bottom side?
Thank you!

End Milling Tool Path XY Bounds
When doing End Milling, is it possible to restrict movements on X and Y within some predefined bounds? Help says it is possible in Geometry option. Snap 2015-02-09 at 13.59.10.png But there I couldn't find any way to define tool path X,Y boundaries, like in Machines Zone all options greyed out, othe...

MachineError1.jpg Trying to create Machine for our Haas UMC-750. Rotation of B axis alone and C on B is working fine. Problem with the Head movement (XYZsolid), When add translation on X only, it is working, once movement on Y added, Test Machine Axis stops working for all including B and C. The ca...

Re: How to use custom made Machine
I live in CET time zone. Reseller is out of the office for two weeks, so I have to wait until he comes back. PDF Tutorial provided with the software got me only to the point of composing machine assembly, assigning axes and frames, movements and rotations and then I stucked on abruptly finished tuto...

Is anywhere on the net I could see step-by-step CAM instructions/tutorials for TopSolid7 in general and Machine creation/usage in particular? Just don't want to waste time guessing

Re: How to use custom made Machine
Thank you! Will dig in this direction. It's a pity that it wasn't explained in the Help PDF TopSolidCam_Tutorial-Machine.pdf at all. As well as how to use Numerical Control for example. Do I need just a Machine model that I created to be able to simulate machining or it works as Machine+Postprocesso...
