Re: Machining Cloud
Hi CAM,
You need module 3701 for the machining cloud and 3702 for NOVO. Please contact your agent.
Here is a small video on the process.

Re: Show picture in draft document
Hi Eric,
First you must create a texture. In the texture document you can add the bitmap.
Then in your CAD part file you can add this as a decal. Shape/Other Operations/ Decal.
Then in your drafting file you must be on realistic rendering.

Hi Eric,
I hear that they have made some improvements to this in 7.10. However, I can't tell you what they are till the end user conference. Better sign up!

Re: Collision
Hi Lawrence,
If you include them into the Machine Def, they will be automatically checked for collision. However, those soft jaws will always be there.
That is why you are set up the way you are.
Hopefully this makes sense.

Re: Moving the PDM server to the cloud
Hello,
TopSolid doesn't directly support this yet! The only solution currently, is to find a service that can host your sql server. The problem with that is, it would get rather expensive. There would be alot of data this thrid party would have to host.

i would advice you not to do that.
Hi Mark,
You are correct. The reason behind this is we have made major enhancements to the base post. Therefore having a stronger starting point.
Stivheys, do you write your own posts?
