Re: define clash shape
the videos are good to show you what you don't know, but honestly there is a lot more useful info in the "Methodology Docs" and all the "What's New Docs"
if it helps at all I've been working on TopSolidWood for over two years and still don't have it in the production chain.

Re: define clash shape
I feel that not all the menus / operations are well documented your feelings are absolutely correct. most of the documentation is in the "what's new" docs and the "Methodology" docs.. print them all out and read them oldest to newest. I actually have 4 different 2" binders ...

Re: Nest ting multi file
SINVIA,
perhaps you could upload one of your projects for us to look at, and tell us what you have done so far and, as near as you can tell, where your problem is.
thanks

Re: Nest ting multi file
If I have two parts the same size in thick x width x length, material, coating, designation, mass, and they each have one 5mm drill thru but in different location on each part TopSolid will only be able to see them as the same part its up to you to manually change the designation so TopSolid can se...

Re: Nest ting multi file
not totally true. We have CadCode We can export parts and process everything and get code without TopSolid CAM.Nestin needs CAM too to put parts to machine. Without CAM Nesting is useless.
So YES you need some sort of CAM processor but not necessarily TopSolid's CAM

Re: How to export matchining file for other CNC machines

(it replaced our Busselatto router) we can input data thru Autocad, TopSolid, ...

Re: Edit Subsets
answered today by Missler and France
I got word back from France. You need to use Edit>Name, type the element you want to change, and then you can rename it. I requested as an improvement.

Edit Subsets
How do you edit the names of the subsets?
I know that the second part (the designation) can be edited under the the Characteristics
But how to you edit the first part? (this is the part that it would order by)

Re: Drive Blocks?
if you create a regular driver block, (on my machine) you cannot edit it and turn it into a DW driver block as in the first video.nothing has changed
the first video shows the edit of an existing Driver block
the second video shows the creation of a new DW driver block.
